Forces unleashed by technological advances, industry dynamics, demographic trends, geopolitical tensions and consumer demands have interacted to create a change landscape that is more frequent, fast, intense, and unpredictable than anything we’ve experienced before. Leaders must increase their capacity to adapt to continual change. Transformative leaders must first transform themselves. This means getting deep into the circuitry of how we think, feel, and act to create new, flexible pathways. We must become as fluid as the environment in which we lead. We will focus on three key aspects of change leadership:

1. Individual Mindset: Cultivating a mindset and motivation towards learning, growth, and experimentation

2. Iterative group measures: Attend to group needs iteratively using the measures of direction, alignment and commitment as key indicators

3. Inclusive behavior patterns: Looking at different approaches to behaviors such as feedback, risk taking and dealing with conflict, we get an idea of the type of behavior shifts that help groups become more adaptive.
