Halima Ahmad

Biography

Dr. Halima Ahmad is now a post-doc researcher at the department of Electrical engineer and information technology of the University of Napoli "Federico II", and she is working on the search for novel control and read-out mechanisms of superconducting qubits and the characterization of multi-transmon qubits performances in collaboration with a digital quantum computing company named Seeqc. She got her Ph. D. in Physics in June discussing the physics of tunnel ferromagnetic Josephson junctions, acquiring expertise in characterizing the transport properties of superconducting devices at low temperatures. She joined the YP-CSC committee in September, and she is actively promoting outreach activities in Italy creating a local group of early-career researchers in superconductivity in the frame of the collaboration between IEEE-CSC, IEEE-CSC Chapter Italy and ESAS.
