I am a senior researcher at NORCE Energy where I work in the Drilling and Well Modeling group. I am also Associate Professor at the University of Stavanger, where I work at the Faculty of Science and Technology.

My expertise is in mathematical modeling, in particular systems for process monitoring and control of drilling operations. As an associate professor, I am responsible for teaching and mentoring Master and PhD students at the Department of Energy and Petroleum Technology.

I hold a PhD in energy and petroleum technology, a master’s in applied mathematics and a bachelor's degree in marine engineering and business administration. I am educated at the University College of Bergen (BSc), University of Bergen (MSc), University of Stavanger and University of Houston (PhD).
