We develop “quantum LEGO bricks” – a virtual lab and a puzzle game. It can be used to set the first steps in the quantum world, teach at any level, and prototype new experiments.

Within this environment, it is already possible to recreate interference, or quantum cryptography protocols. It is possible to show entanglement, Bell test, quantum teleportation, and the many-worlds interpretation.

The previous version of the game was used to teach quantum high-school students (see https://p.migdal.pl/2016/08/15/quantum-mechanics-for-high-school-students.html). The current lab is being used at Stanford Univ. and Oxford Univ., for quantum information courses for undergraduate students.

As a part of the project, we redesign the notation for quantum states, moving it from static LaTeX to interactive formulae. We have built a visualizer for quantum states and matrices, which you can use in your course (be it an interactive presentation or on your website).
